UPSSSC PET 2025 Begins Statewide With Massive Transport, Security Push

Overview

  • Over 25.32 lakh candidates are sitting the two‑day PET on September 6–7 across 48 districts, with four shifts scheduled from 10:00–12:00 and 15:00–17:00 each day.
  • UPSRTC has deployed nearly 11,000 buses statewide, including extensive allocations from Lucknow and dedicated shuttles to major rail hubs, with reserve vehicles on standby.
  • In Prayagraj region, officials scheduled 1,26,089 candidates to travel from Prayagraj, Mirzapur and Pratapgarh, supported by 520 buses and 24x7 help desks at depots.
  • Indian Railways has readied on‑demand special services with multiple rakes on standby at major stations; four special trains are being run on key LucknowLakhimpur and GomtinagarGorakhpur routes.
  • Security has been tightened with the STF on high alert and live CCTV feeds to a UPSSSC master control room, while strict entry rules require admit cards, valid ID and no late entry.
