Overview
- The Union Public Service Commission uploaded the provisional Paper I answer key for the CAPF (Assistant Commandants) exam this week, following the written test held on July 19 to fill 349 vacancies.
- Candidates can download the PDF from upsc.gov.in by selecting the Examination/Answer Keys section and choosing the booklet series (A, B, C or D).
- UPSC’s official marking scheme assigns +2 for each correct response, −0.66 for each incorrect answer, and no marks for unanswered questions so candidates can use these rules to estimate probable scores.
- A formal objection window will open next so candidates may challenge provisional answers; the commission will review objections, publish a final answer key, and then declare results.
- Those who clear the written stage will move to physical standards and efficiency tests, medical checks and an interview, a sequence that determines final appointment to CAPF forces such as BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP and SSB.
