Overview
- The Union Public Service Commission made Mains admit cards available on Friday, August 14, and candidates must download them from upsc.gov.in before the exams start.
- The Mains written tests are scheduled from August 21 to August 30 with two daily sessions: 9:00–12:00 and 14:30–17:30.
- Candidates should check name, roll and registration numbers, photo, exam centre and timings on the downloaded admit card and report any errors to the Commission for correction.
- Reports differ on the exact login fields to retrieve the admit card—some list registration number while others list application number, and some ask for password while others allow date of birth—so candidates should follow the UPSC site prompts.
- A printed admit card, a passport-size photo and a valid photo ID are required at the centre, and the Commission typically issues Mains results about 50 days after exams followed by interview schedules for shortlisted candidates.
