UPSC Releases CMS 2026 Admit Card for August 2 Examination

Printing and checking the UPSC admit card is required for entry under the commission’s rules on photo ID and banned items.

Overview

  • The Union Public Service Commission made the Combined Medical Services admit card available on its portal on Saturday, July 25, 2026, for candidates appearing on August 2.
  • The written test will be held in two papers on August 2 with Paper I from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and Paper II from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and it covers medicine, paediatrics, surgery, gynaecology, obstetrics and preventive and social medicine.
  • This year’s recruitment opens 1,358 Medical Officer posts across central departments, with successful written-test candidates later shortlisted for the personality test.
  • Registered applicants must download the admit card from upsconline.nic.in by logging in with their Registration ID or Roll Number and Date of Birth and should verify name, roll number, centre and reporting time.
  • Candidates must bring a printed admit card and original photo ID, arrive early, avoid prohibited items such as mobile phones and calculators, and report any download errors or discrepancies to UPSC before the exam.
