Overview
- On June 25, the UPSC published the official timetable for the Combined Defence Service (II) Examination, which will take place on September 14, 2025.
- The application window closed on June 20 after aspirants applied to compete for 453 vacancies across four defence academies.
- The written test is set in three shifts with English from 9 AM to 11 AM, general knowledge from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM and elementary mathematics from 4 PM to 6 PM.
- Candidates who clear the written papers will advance to Service Selection Board interviews as the next stage of recruitment.
- Written exam marks carry 300 points for IMA, INA and AFA candidates and 200 points for OTA aspirants, with interview scores weighted equally for final selection.
