UPSC Opens Online Applications for 194 Gazetted Posts

  • The Union Public Service Commission started the online application window Saturday and will accept submissions through the ORA portal until June 12, 2026 at 6 PM.
  • The advertisement lists 194 vacancies across 32 Group A and Group B posts covering technical, engineering, scientific, teaching, aviation, archaeology, meteorology and administrative roles.
  • All candidates must apply only through the UPSC Online Recruitment Application (upsconline.nic.in/ora), complete one-time registration and post-specific modules, and upload supporting documents such as proof of age and qualifications.
  • The application fee is Rs 25 payable online with statutory exemptions for women, SC, ST and persons with benchmark disabilities, and selection will be by shortlisting on credentials followed by an interview with no written test.
  • Selected candidates receive permanent gazetted appointments with pay from Level 10 of the 7th Central Pay Commission and allowances, and the commission warns vacancy numbers may change so applicants should check the official notification for post-wise eligibility and reservation rules.
