Overview
- The UPSC released the Prelims results on June 11 after conducting two papers on May 25, screening over 1 million candidates for 979 Civil Services vacancies.
- A total of 14,161 aspirants have been provisionally shortlisted for the Mains examination, while results for four candidates remain withheld pending legal proceedings.
- Shortlisted candidates must complete the DAF-I between June 16 and June 25, paying a ₹200 fee (exempted for female, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates) and updating service preferences, scribe requests, and other assistance details.
- The Commission will publish Prelims marks, official answer keys, and category-wise cutoffs only after the final results of both the Civil Services and Indian Forest Service examinations are declared.
- The Civil Services Mains Examination is scheduled to begin on August 22 and will span five days of descriptive and qualifying papers leading into the Personality Test stage.
