UPSC Announces 2024 Civil Services Exam Results; Shakti Dubey Tops

The Union Public Service Commission has recommended 1,009 candidates for appointment to prestigious services, with detailed marks to be released within 15 days.

  • Shakti Dubey from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, secured All India Rank 1 in the 2024 Civil Services Examination, followed by Harshita Goyal and Dongre Archit Parag at ranks 2 and 3, respectively.
  • A total of 1,009 candidates have been recommended for appointment to services including IAS, IPS, and IFS, out of 2,845 interviewees and over 9.9 lakh applicants.
  • The category-wise distribution of recommended candidates includes 335 General, 109 EWS, 318 OBC, 160 SC, and 87 ST, with 45 persons having benchmark disabilities.
  • The UPSC follows a rigorous three-stage selection process comprising Preliminary, Mains, and Personality Test, with interviews concluding on April 17, 2025.
  • Candidate marks will be published on the UPSC website within 15 days, and a facilitation counter is available for inquiries on working days.
