UPPSC Opens PCS 2026 Registration for About 500 State Administrative Posts
This starts the formal hiring process that will staff dozens of district and state-level administrative roles.
Overview
- The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission issued the PCS 2026 notification and opened online applications on June 25, 2026, with the submission and fee deadline set for July 27, 2026.
- Applicants must complete One Time Registration on the OTR portal at least 72 hours before applying and preserve OTR and application records for verification.
- Candidates need a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university by the last date of application and must pay the prescribed fee which varies by category, for example Rs 125 for General/OBC/EWS and Rs 65 for SC/ST.
- Selection follows a three-stage process of Preliminary exam, Main (written) exam with document verification, and an interview, while some posts may be filled on written exam results alone.
- The notification lists roughly 500 Group A and B posts such as Deputy Collector, DSP and BDO but the commission may revise the final vacancy count and will announce exam dates and admit-card releases later.
