Overview

  • The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board posted the written-exam merit list on its official site on Friday, July 31, and shortlisted 76,184 candidates for the next stage.
  • The written examination was held on June 8, 9 and 10 with about 28.8 lakh candidates appearing across 1,180 centres in 75 districts.
  • Document verification and the physical standard test are proposed to begin from August 17 while the physical efficiency test is planned for September, with detailed schedules and venue notices to follow on the UPPRPB portal.
  • UPPRPB says normalized marks for the written exam will be released only after the completion of final selection and will be made available through a link on its website.
