• With 22 days to the September 22 Bodoland Territorial Council polls, the field is setting up as a multi-cornered contest across the 40 seats.
• The UPPL issued a second list of 16 candidates approved by its Central Working Committee, with Pramod Boro contesting from Goibari alongside Ranjit Basumatary, Ukhil Mushahary, Khampa Borgoyari and Mariam Toppo.
