UPMSP Publishes 2027 Class 10 and 12 Exam Timetable

Officials say the schedule will shape poll planning because exams run in early February and election teams will review logistics before setting dates

Overview

  • The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad released the full subject-wise datesheet on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, with the notice signed by board secretary Bhagwati Singh and posted on upmsp.edu.in.
  • Board exams are set for February 5–24, 2027, to be held in two daily shifts: morning 8:30–11:45 with writing from 8:45, and afternoon 2:00–5:15 with writing from 2:15; the first 15 minutes of each session are reserved for reading the paper.
  • About 51.98 lakh students have registered (roughly 27.74 lakh for Class 10 and 24.24 lakh for Class 12), creating large demands on centres, invigilators and logistics across government and private schools that also serve as polling stations.
  • Media and officials are treating the timetable as a key factor for the Uttar Pradesh assembly schedule and reports say the Election Commission will review arrangements in coming weeks with the likelihood that polling will be arranged after the exams.
  • Practical next steps for schools and students include downloading the official PDF from upmsp.edu.in, following centre and conduct guidelines issued by the board, and preparations by education and election authorities to resolve centre use and staffing conflicts before polls.
