Overview
- NPCI data show December processed about 21.63 billion UPI transactions worth roughly Rs 27.97 lakh crore, up 29% by volume and 20% by value year-on-year.
- Average daily activity in December reached about 698 million transactions with an average daily value of roughly Rs 90,217 crore.
- For calendar 2025, UPI exceeded 228 billion transactions with value near Rs 300 lakh crore as year-on-year volume growth in December dipped below 30% for the second time that year.
