Upgraded Yak-130M Debuts at Dubai Airshow 2025

A compact radar, targeting optics, a defensive suite expand the jet's role to training and light attack.

  • Rosoboronexport head Alexander Mikheev said the first Yak-130M samples have been built, with one airframe on the Dubai Airshow static display.
  • The exhibition aircraft is shown armed with KAB-250 guided bombs and short-range rockets, according to Rosoboronexport.
  • Developers identified the installed suites as the BRLS-130R radar, SOLT-130K targeting system, President-S130 defensive complex, and KSS-130 communications.
