  • The BCCI’s Anti-Corruption Unit set up a controlled interaction, recorded calls and chats, and submitted the material to police.
  • DCP Nipun Agarwal said charges were registered under BNS sections 318, 319, 112, and 62, Section 3 of the Public Gambling Act, and Section 66D of the IT Act.
  • The Cyber Crime Cell is tracing the account’s IP and contacts and police will review past matches, with no arrests announced as Kashi Rudra face Meerut Mavericks in Saturday’s final at Ekana Stadium.
