Overview
- At events in Gorakhpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said the state economy would reach about ₹36 trillion and per capita income ₹1.2 lakh by year-end compared with 2017 levels.
- Residents are being asked to submit ideas on the Samarth Uttar Pradesh portal across agriculture, industry, IT, tourism, infrastructure, health, education and governance, with awards for the best district and state suggestions.
- Citing a survey, the chief minister said only 10% of the population now works outside Uttar Pradesh, crediting ODOP and MSME expansion, other employment schemes and 8.5 lakh government hires.
