UP RERA Approves 16 Projects Worth ₹3,200 Crore Across Nine Districts

The regulator casts the move as a push for transparent, buyer-focused growth that will spur employment across construction-related services.

  • The clearances cover 3,845 residential, commercial and mixed-use units announced on December 15.
  • Lucknow leads with six projects totaling ₹2,154.69 crore and 1,406 units spanning two residential, two mixed-use and two commercial developments.
  • Agra secures two projects worth ₹200.69 crore with 668 units, while Ghaziabad gets two commercial projects worth ₹74.18 crore with 210 units.
  • Bareilly, Prayagraj, Aligarh, Jhansi, MathuraVrindavan and Moradabad each receive one residential project, with Moradabad the largest at ₹516.34 crore and 544 units.
  • The decision was taken at UP RERA’s 190th meeting chaired by Sanjay Bhoosreddy, who emphasized job creation, sectoral spillovers, and protection of homebuyers.
