Overview

• The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) declared the results for the 2024 constable recruitment exam on November 21, now available at uppbpb.gov.in.
• Out of 48 lakh registered candidates, 32 lakh appeared for the exam, with 174,316 candidates qualifying for the next round—2.5 times the number of available positions.
• The recruitment drive aims to fill 60,244 constable positions, with 12,049 reserved for women and 48,195 for men.
• Qualified candidates will proceed to document verification and Physical Standard Tests (PST) in December, followed by Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) in January 2025.
• The exam was conducted in two phases across five days in August 2024, with results determined using a normalization process due to multiple shifts.
