Overview

• The Women Economic Empowerment Index has been integrated into the Chief Minister’s Control Room as a mission-critical tool for tracking scheme performance across all 75 districts
• Five districts—Shravasti, Sambhal, Mahoba, Balrampur and Siddharthnagar—were flagged for urgent intervention based on gaps in entrepreneurship, employment, education, livelihood and safety metrics
• Odop Margin Money Scheme campaigns are set to launch in Banda, Jalaun, Jaunpur, Mahoba, Shravasti and Sitapur to boost women’s access to credit and entrepreneurial support
• District officials must establish re-enrolment units to bring women who dropped out back into vocational and skill development programs
• State directives prioritize women’s recruitment as Home Guards and teachers and expand training in technical institutes, paramedical courses and public transport roles
