Overview
- Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced the first phase of the campaign to run statewide from September 22 to 29.
- The CM and both deputy chief ministers will participate, with MPs, ministers, MLAs, MLCs and councillors spending 1–2 hours daily in local markets to engage traders and consumers.
- District in‑charge ministers will oversee coordination with local bodies and business associations, and all public representatives have been asked to share seven‑day action plans with the Chief Minister.
- Public representatives will thank shopkeepers with roses and encourage shops to display “Garv Se Kaho Swadeshi Hai” posters to prioritise indigenous products.
- The outreach will convey the government’s message that GST 2.0 simplifies business, makes goods cheaper and strengthens purchasing power, investment and employment during the festive period.
