Overview

• Municipal bodies will receive Rs 4–10 crore each, with grant size tied to population, efficiency and progress on selected projects.
• Towns near Lucknow and Gorakhpur will connect to Integrated Command and Control Centres under a hub-and-spoke model for monitoring, security and grievance redressal.
• A proposal would run 200 electric buses on the Lucknow–Kanpur route via a net cost contract while 650 buses are to be directly purchased for other cities, alongside rapid EV charging rollout.
• Financial approval limits for Municipal Commissioners, Mayors, Executive Committees and Corporation Boards will be expanded immediately in line with the 74th Constitutional Amendment.
• A Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad International Shooting Range and a multipurpose sports complex in Lucknow will proceed on priority through a PPP model.
