Overview
- The Cabinet approved a Rs 380 crore development plan excluding land costs with a 60-year lease under the DBFOT model
- Funding allocates Rs 105 crore to the bus terminal and Rs 275 crore to commercial and public utility spaces on a 7.06-acre site
- The Directorate of Urban Transport secured the land from Awas Vikas Parishad for Rs 150 crore ahead of the project launch
- The bus depot will serve 141 electric and 52 CNG buses upon opening and can accommodate an additional 150 electric buses
- Planned amenities include AC waiting halls, booking counters, kiosks, medical aid rooms and a security control center to enhance commuter experience
