Overview

• The state will fully fund the 49.96 km greenfield link at a cost of ₹4,775.84 crore under an Engineering, Procurement and Construction framework.
• The six-lane corridor is designed for expansion to eight lanes and will bridge the Agra-Lucknow and Purvanchal expressways.
• Approvals were granted in a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath as part of the government’s broader expressway grid strategy.
• The new link is set to reduce the travel distance between Ballia and New Delhi to roughly 900 km.
