Overview
- The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad published the full 2027 date sheet on its website Tuesday, scheduling board exams from February 5 to February 24, 2027.
- Examinations will run in two daily shifts with a morning session from 8:30 am to 11:45 am and an afternoon session from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm, and each session begins with a 15‑minute reading period.
- More than 51.98 lakh students have registered to appear, with roughly 27.74 lakh for Class 10 and 24.24 lakh for Class 12, highlighting the large logistical task for exam authorities.
- The first papers on February 5 are Hindi for both classes and the final papers on February 24 include Agriculture for Class 10 and Computer and Sanskrit for Class 12, with the full subject‑wise timetable on upmsp.edu.in.
- Because many exam centres are schools that double as polling stations, officials and media say the February window could push assembly polling into March and the Election Commission has scheduled review visits in the coming months.
