Overview
- The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad began online registration on Saturday, June 6, and will accept applications until midnight on June 27.
- Students must apply through the official portals upmsp.edu.in or compartment.upmsp.edu.in and pay the fee via a treasury challan before submitting the online form.
- The fee is fixed at Rs 256.50 for Class 10 improvement/compartment and Rs 306 for Class 12 compartment, and candidates must keep the original challan as proof of payment.
- After the online submission, applicants must send a printed copy of the application and the original treasury challan by registered post to their regional UP Board office so the documents arrive within three days of the June 27 deadline.
- Eligibility rules let Class 10 students appear in one failed subject for improvement or one failed subject for compartment if they failed two papers, and Class 12 candidates who failed one paper — including agriculture and vocational trade papers — may apply; written, practical and project exam dates will be announced separately, which could affect students' preparation plans.
