Overview
- Officials outlined a division of the Ayodhya Development Area into 18 zones with land-use shares of 52.56% residential, 5.11% commercial, 4.65% industrial, 10.28% public use, 12.20% transport and 14.31% green and open spaces.
- Population is estimated at about 1.1 million today with projections of 2.4 million by 2031 and 3.5 million by 2047 guiding the plan’s scale and services.
- Proposed works include new residential townships, a grand entry gate, multi-level parking, the 84 Kosi Parikrama Marg, a greenfield expressway, a ring road, an airport, a temple museum, a solar power plant and expanded hotel capacity.

- Authorities reported 159 approved projects worth ₹8,594 crore under the Ayodhya Development Authority, which the government says will create local jobs and strengthen the regional economy.
