UP Announces 2025–26 Coarse-Grain Procurement Starting October 1
Farmers must register on the state portal or app to access Aadhaar-linked payments verified by biometrics.
Overview
- Procurement will run from October 1 to December 31 for maize, millet and sorghum.
- Only registered farmers are eligible, with sign-ups and renewals available at fcs.up.gov.in or through the UP Kisan Mitra app.
- MSPs are set at Rs 2,400 per quintal for maize, Rs 2,775 for millet, Rs 3,699 for hybrid sorghum and Rs 3,749 for Malwandi sorghum.
- Payments will be credited directly to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts, with e-POP biometric checks at procurement centres.
- Crop-wise district lists guide where each grain will be bought, and assistance is available via toll-free 18001800150 or local food and marketing officers.
