Overview
- Pre-orders for Until Dawn 2 went live Thursday, September 10, and the PlayStation Store lists the Standard Edition at $49.99/£44.99 and the Digital Deluxe at $54.99/£49.99.
- The Digital Deluxe includes a Y2K Neon Vibes Pack with themed costumes for eight playable characters and a Dioramas of Death gallery, while all pre-orders grant Dr. Hill-themed in-game collectibles.
- The game is a PS5 exclusive scheduled to launch on 28 January 2027 and is expected to allow preloading closer to release.
- Firesprite is leading development with co-development from AdHoc Studio rather than the original developer Supermassive Games, a change noted alongside Supermassive’s recent staff cuts.
- Commentators note the price is cheaper than recent PlayStation first-party titles priced around £60–£70 and say confirmed runtime, scope and post-launch plans will be the clearest way to judge what the lower price means.
