Unsung Debuts Snapback Trainer

Boston founders released a $188 trainer built for multidirectional team-sport work with plans to expand beyond hockey and lacrosse.

Overview

  • The company launched and put the Snapback Trainer on sale Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, at Unsung.com in four colorways and unisex sizes for $188.
  • Unsung was founded by former college athletes and Reebok and TB12 veterans Dennis Baldwin, Jody O’Neill and Brianna Henley, who led the two-year product development effort.
  • The Snapback pairs a carbon fiber plate, TPU stability wings and supercritical foam to support propulsion, stability and responsive cushioning for lateral and explosive movements.
  • UNSUNG says it ran three rounds of wear testing with more than 50 high school, college and professional athletes and worked with biomechanics lab Heeluxe to validate responsiveness and energy return.
  • Paul Fireman will chair the brand’s advisory board and Patrice Bergeron joins as a brand advisor, and the company says it will commit a portion of revenues to expand youth access to team sports as it scales its product line.
