Unrivaled Basketball League Set to Debut with Star-Studded Lineup

The new 3-on-3 women’s basketball league, founded by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, tips off January 17 in Miami with six teams and a focus on player development.

Unrivaled is a new women’s 3-on-3 basketball league featuring 36 top WNBA players, including co-founders Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart.
The league aims to provide players with competitive offseason opportunities, six-figure salaries, and a more family-friendly schedule compared to overseas play.
Games will be played on a smaller full court with four seven-minute quarters, and the season runs from January 17 to March 17 in a custom-built Miami facility.
Each of the six teams is led by a head coach with a strong player development background, including Teresa Weatherspoon, Phil Handy, and DJ Sackmann.
Broadcast coverage will include TNT, truTV, and streaming options, with additional features like a midseason one-on-one tournament offering a $250,000 prize.
