'UnPrisoned' Renewed for Second Season, Kerry Washington Renews Deal with ABC Signature

Washington's Simpson Street to continue producing projects under renewed three-year deal with ABC Signature.

Kerry Washington's dramedy 'UnPrisoned' has been renewed for a second season at Hulu.
The series follows a single mom and relationship therapist whose life changes when her father, recently released from prison, moves in with her and her son.
Washington has also renewed her overall deal with ABC Signature for another three years, continuing to produce projects through her Simpson Street production company.
'UnPrisoned' is executive produced by Washington, Tracy McMillan, Delroy Lindo, and others, and is backed by Onyx Collective and produced by ABC Signature.
The show has received largely positive reviews and debuted as Onyx Collective’s most watched premiere on Hulu.
