UNLV Quarterback Anthony Colandrea Will Enter Transfer Portal Jan. 2

The Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year is set to be in the Jan. 2 window, represented by Young Money APAA Sports.

Overview

  • Colandrea told ESPN he intends to enter the NCAA transfer portal when the offseason window opens Jan. 2, with one year of eligibility remaining.
  • He delivered a career-best 2025 season at UNLV with 3,459 passing yards, 649 rushing yards and 33 total touchdowns, earning conference Offensive Player of the Year honors and ranking No. 3 nationally in total offense.
  • The junior reversed comments made before the Frisco Bowl that he would stay at UNLV, and his agency amplified reports of his plan to enter the portal.
  • He will be represented in the process by Noah Reisenfeld and Adie von Gontard of Young Money APAA Sports, and is viewed as one of the portal’s most experienced options as a 32-game starter.
  • The NCAA transfer window runs Jan. 2–16, and entering it allows contact with other programs while leaving open the possibility of a return to UNLV.
