Overview

• RARA confirmed the Unlimited Class will sit out the Sept. 10–14 National Championship Air Races in Roswell, New Mexico.
• The Sport Class previously paused its 2025 participation, leaving five competition groups: Formula 1, Jet, Biplane, T-6 and STOL Drag.
• Organizers published the official competitor roster for those classes, finalizing the inaugural Roswell field.
• The FAA accredited NCAR to host multi-class racing through Aug. 31, 2027, following review of new race courses and May PRS results.
• RARA and Unlimited representatives say they will work toward the class’s accreditation and return in 2026 as site preparations and pilot certifications continue.
