University of Colorado to Retire Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders' Jerseys at Spring Game

The ceremony honors the record-breaking players for their transformative impact on the Buffaloes' football program under Coach Deion Sanders.

Travis Hunter (#12) and Shedeur Sanders (#2) will have their jersey numbers retired during Colorado's spring football game on Saturday at Folsom Field.
Hunter, a two-way star, won the Heisman Trophy and eight major awards in 2024, solidifying his legacy as one of college football's most decorated players.
Sanders, the team's quarterback, set over 100 school records, including career passing touchdowns, completion percentage, and passer rating.
Both players transferred to Colorado from Jackson State and played a pivotal role in revitalizing the program, leading the Buffaloes to a 9-4 season in 2024 after a 1-11 record in 2022.
The jersey retirement ceremony will be broadcast on ESPN2 and marks only the fifth and sixth numbers retired in the football program's 135-year history.
