Universal Studios Japan Shortens November Park Hours

Reduced hours risk disrupting visitor itineraries by shortening the time guests have inside the park.

Overview

Universal Studios Japan published its November operating calendar on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, and the official notice warns business hours will change on certain days.
The posted schedule shows earlier closing times on multiple November dates, with some nights listed at 9 p.m., 8 p.m. or earlier compared with extended Halloween hours in October.
Universal’s event listings confirm Halloween programming and Halloween Horror Nights end Nov. 8 while Universal Holiday Wonders begins Nov. 13, creating a Nov. 9–12 gap between seasonal celebrations.
The park’s attraction-closure calendar lists WaterWorld closed Nov. 28–Dec. 27, 2026, and shows indefinite outages for Shrek’s 4-D Adventure, Sesame Street 4-D Movie Magic and Space Fantasy – The Ride.
Universal cautions that hours and access rules, including timed-entry for high-demand lands, can change without notice and advises guests to check the live calendar before travel because shorter days reduce time to visit headline lands such as Super Nintendo World and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
