- The park has broken ground on Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, its first outdoor high-speed roller coaster set to open in 2026.
- Each ride vehicle spins a full 360 degrees to simulate drifting and is styled after iconic cars such as Dominic Toretto’s 1970 Dodge Charger.
- Hollywood Drift will reach 72 mph, making it the fastest coaster in the Universal Destinations & Experiences portfolio.
- The 4,100-foot track features sound reduction technology and swoops over the Upper Lot and the StarWay escalator bridge.
- One of the Charger-themed vehicles and the garage-inspired queue are on display at the park through August 10, 2025.
