Overview
- Universal announced the 2027 Universal Mardi Gras window will run from February 6 through March 27, 2027, and that the festival will last 50 days, a week shorter than the 2026 run.
- The resort confirmed core attractions for the celebration include the nightly Mardi Gras parade with beads, international food booths for purchase, and live concerts on select nights at the Music Plaza Stage.
- Universal said the event will be included with normal Universal Studios Florida admission or a valid Annual Pass subject to applicable blockout dates, though some food and paid experiences have separate charges.
- Key operational details remain unreleased: full food menus, the complete parade lineup, concert performers and schedule, and Float Ride & Dine pricing and participating locations will be announced later.
- The timing — ending the day before Easter in 2027 — and the shorter run compared with recent years could affect visitor planning and crowd patterns as guests decide which nights to attend.
