Universal Reportedly Gave Free One‑Time Express Access to Select HHN Guests

Overview

• Multiple outlets said that on Thursday, October 8 Universal Studios Hollywood handed out complimentary, single‑use Express access to Dead, Deader, Deadest for guests who attended the 8 p.m. performance of The Purge: Dangerous Waters.
• The report originates from an Inside Universal social‑media post and was corroborated by Inside the Magic, Disney Dining, and Disney Fanatic, but Universal has not issued an official confirmation of the giveaway or its terms.
• The passes were described as targeted, one‑time benefits for a single house rather than full Universal Express tickets that shorten waits across multiple attractions.
• No verified data or park statement shows that the October 8 distribution increased standby wait times, and details such as how many passes were given and when they were redeemed remain unknown.
• Visitors should plan using official tickets and the Universal app for live wait times and schedules while watching park channels for any further surprise distributions during the October 9–11 event nights because repeat giveaways could change queue flow.
