Universal Orlando Resort Announces Major Expansion with Epic Universe and New Hotels

Despite Recent Incidents of Guest Violence, Universal Maintains Parks and Resorts are Safe

Universal Orlando Resort is expanding with the addition of Epic Universe, set to open in 2025, and two new hotels, Stella Nova and Terra Luna, opening in January and February 2025 respectively.
Epic Universe will feature five themed lands including SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, a new Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal Classic Monsters land, and a How To Train Your Dragon land.
Universal is also planning a new park in Frisco, Texas, called Universal Kids Resort, designed for families with young children and set to open in 2026.
Recent reports of physical altercations between guests at Universal Studios Hollywood have raised concerns about guest safety.
Despite these incidents, Universal maintains that their parks and resorts are safe for all guests.
