Overview
- Universal Horror Unleashed, the company’s first permanent year-round horror attraction, opened August 14 at AREA15 in Las Vegas with four haunted houses based on Universal Monsters, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Blumhouse’s The Exorcist: Believer and an original Scarecrow story.
- The 110,000-square-foot venue features four immersive zones—Kill Vault, Prop Graveyard, Dead Storage and Jack’s Alley—with live entertainers, roaming scare actors and themed bars.
- Guests can fuel their visit with horror-inspired food and beverage outlets like Rough Cuts and Boiler Bar, shop branded merchandise at an on-site retail store and enjoy a three-hour Haunted High Rollers VIP experience starting at $2,750.
- Ticket prices start at $69 for general access and $99 for unlimited haunted house entry, with VIP packages offering priority lines, dedicated hosts and exclusive artist meet-and-greets.
- Universal has integrated local art through a mural by Las Vegas street artist Krie, marked the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony involving city officials and plans a second Universal Horror Unleashed location in Chicago for 2027.
