Overview
- Requests are open through June 30, 2026, with instant matched status granted for 120 days once an Activating Flight posts and the upgrade processes within five to seven business days.
- An Activating Flight must be operated by United or United Express, and United may count one eligible United flight from the prior 30 days as the activator during registration.
- To extend status, flyers must meet reduced thresholds within 120 days on United or United Express flights only, such as 5 PQF and 1,700 PQP for Premier Silver and 20 PQF and 7,500 PQP for Premier 1K; credit card–earned PQP do not count for this offer.
- Completion timing determines how long status lasts: finishing before July 1 locks status through January 31, 2027, while finishing on or after July 1 extends it through January 31, 2028.
- Eligible source programs include Alaska, American, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, British Airways and Qantas, with a five-year cooldown for prior matches and trial or promotional statuses ineligible; reports differ on whether Premier 1K matches extend beyond American and Delta top tiers.
