United Flight Diverted Due to Disruptive Intoxicated Passengers

Two passengers caused an emergency landing in Maine; one arrested for combative behavior.

A United Airlines flight from London to Newark was diverted to Maine due to disruptive behavior by two intoxicated passengers.
The passengers, identified as unruly and intoxicated, were removed from the flight and have been banned from future United Airlines flights.
One of the passengers, Alexander Michael Dominic MacDonald, became physically combative, leading to his restraint and arrest.
The incident, classified as a Level 2 threat, prompted an investigation by the FBI, Customs and Border Protection, and local law enforcement.
Despite the diversion, the flight, carrying 150 passengers and 10 crew members, safely resumed its journey to Newark.
