United Airlines Reveals Polaris Studio Suites in Major Dreamliner Upgrade

Overview

  • United Airlines has unveiled Polaris Studio, a new ultra-premium business class suite with 25% larger seats, privacy doors, caviar service, and 27-inch screens.
  • Standard Polaris business class suites will also be upgraded with sliding doors, larger screens, and new privacy options.
  • Each redesigned Boeing 787-9 will include eight Polaris Studio suites, 56 Polaris business suites, 35 Premium Plus seats, and 90 Economy seats.
  • The first upgraded aircraft is expected to be delivered by the end of 2025, with inaugural international routes planned for 2026, including flights from San Francisco to Singapore and London Heathrow.
  • United has committed $150 million this year to food and beverage enhancements, including new mid-flight meal options and expanded dining choices for all cabin classes.
