United Airlines Passenger Banned After Violent Mid-Flight Outburst

The man was restrained by fellow passengers after repeatedly kicking his own seat during a flight from Austin to Los Angeles.

The disruptive incident occurred on United Flight 502 on November 16, approximately 40 minutes before landing at Los Angeles International Airport.
The passenger was seen standing on his seat and repeatedly stomping on it, despite no one being seated in the nearby rows.
Fellow passenger Gino Galofaro, along with two others, restrained the man using zip ties and a seatbelt after flight attendants did not intervene.
United Airlines confirmed the passenger has been banned from all future flights and stated that law enforcement met the plane upon arrival.
Galofaro, an addiction counselor, expressed a desire to contact the passenger's family to offer assistance, though no motive for the outburst has been disclosed.
