- Uniqlo will open 11 new stores across seven U.S. cities in spring and summer 2026, including four in New York City with three in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg.
- The company has signed a lease for a Market Street flagship at 801 Market Street in San Francisco, in the former Old Navy space owned by Ponte Gadea, with an opening planned for the latter half of summer 2026.
- Chicago will add a Magnificent Mile flagship at 600 N. Michigan Avenue and a second location at Oakbrook Center as part of the rollout.
- Other confirmed sites include Boston’s Downtown Crossing, Washington, D.C.’s Georgetown Park, the Seattle-area Issaquah Commons, and Maryland’s Annapolis Mall.
- Uniqlo calls the plan “thoughtful growth,” and San Francisco leaders met with company executives in July and publicly welcomed the return as part of downtown’s retail revival.
