Union Publishes September Wage Table for Argentina’s Domestic Workers Under Pending Parity Deal

Employers must add the August non-remunerative bonus to wages by September 5.

Overview

  • The CNTCP agreement grants a 6.5% total raise structured as 3.5% already applied plus 1% in July, August and September.
  • For August, the one-time bonus is $9,500 for more than 16 weekly hours, $6,000 for 12–16 hours, and $4,000 for up to 12 hours, payable with the August salary by September 5.
  • Upacp’s September minimums include $3,052.99 per hour with retiro, $3,293.99 without retiro, $374,541.36 monthly with retiro and $416,485.63 without retiro.
  • A 30% zona desfavorable supplement applies in specified areas including La Pampa, Río Negro, Chubut, Neuquén, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego, the Partido de Patagones and the Antarctic and South Atlantic islands.
  • The update is being implemented pending Boletín Oficial homologation, and authorities highlight ARCA registration to ensure proper recording of employment and contributions.
