Unidentified Woman's Body Found in Refrigerator in New Jersey State Forest

Police seek public assistance to identify remains of a woman with distinctive tattoos discovered in Belleplain State Forest on December 22.

The body, believed to belong to a Caucasian or Hispanic woman approximately 5'1" tall, was found inside an abandoned refrigerator in Belleplain State Forest, New Jersey.
Authorities released details of two distinctive tattoos: a koi fish on the upper back shoulder and a rose wrapping from the chest to the hip on the left side.
Additional items recovered included a yoga mat with a unique design and a necklace featuring a star and seven dots stamped on a medallion.
Police have not yet determined the cause or manner of death and are asking for public assistance to identify the victim.
The discovery marks the second body found in New Jersey state woodlands this month, following an unrelated case in a different area.
