Jesus Enrique Ramirez Cabrera, a 23-year-old undocumented migrant from Peru, was arrested for abducting a teenage girl in Manassas, Virginia.
Cabrera allegedly posed as a police officer when approaching the girl and forcing her into his vehicle.
The girl managed to escape by jumping out of the moving car and was later found in distress by a passerby.
Cabrera had been released into the U.S. interior after being apprehended at the Arizona border last year.
Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares criticized the Biden-Harris administration's border policies in response to the incident.
