Underinflated Footballs Impact Patriots-Chiefs Game

Officials' error leads to underinflated footballs, affecting both teams' performance in the first half.

During the Patriots-Chiefs game, the footballs used by both teams' kicking units were found to be underinflated by 2.5 PSI due to an error by the officials.
The issue was discovered at halftime after complaints from both teams, and the balls were then properly inflated.
Both teams' kickers, Harrison Butker and Chad Ryland, missed field goals in the first half, which was unusual, especially for Butker who hadn't missed all season.
The underinflation was first noticed during the opening kickoff when Butker's kick only reached the three-yard line, whereas 87.1% of his kickoffs this season have been touchbacks.
After the balls were properly inflated in the second half, both teams were perfect on kicks and point-after attempts.
