• NS&I data shows 2,598,139 unclaimed prizes ranging from £25 to £100,000, totalling £103,270,175 as of July 2025.
• The value of unclaimed awards rose 21.9% year-on-year as prizes unclaimed after 18 months continue to accumulate.
• Around one in ten prizes are still paid by cheque, equating to roughly 600,000 cheques issued in July alone that may go unclaimed.
• Eleven jackpots of £100,000 each remain unclaimed, with some awards dating back to the first draw in November 1957.
• NS&I has expanded online prize checkers, MyLostAccount tracing and targeted staff outreach to reconnect winners with their prizes.
